Craft Beer tasting and brewery tour Tuesday 10 September
Higgins Ale Works hosts a craft beer tasting at the Taproom! Try 6 of our handcrafted ales (0,2l each) and learn about the recipes and beer production. We will discuss beer styles, how the flavors are derived from the ingredients sourced locally and globally. Enjoy a tour of our keller brewery next door and learn about the brewing process.

Saturday 14 September, Septemberfest märzen release at higgins taproom
Join our Wies'n warm up party featuring a special Märzen this year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Munich Beer Experience Museum Club. The club was formed to recognize Munich's top ranking in global beer tourism and welcomes new members who support local breweries brewing everything from traditional to craft beer.
The party starts at 16:00 and the keg tapping is at 17:30.
Thursday 19 September, 17:00 Woodland Wonders release party at higgins taproom
Come to the release party of Woodland Wonders Elderflower Saison-our annual collaboration with Hopsylvania! Brewed with Elderflowers foraged by the brewers from the Bavarian forest. This year's release is enhanced with a limited number of bottles of the Aged Woodland Wonders from 2023.
Meet the brewers and learn what makes this saison especially tasty.
Craft Beer and whisky pairing tuesday 22 October
Higgins Ale Works hosts an unusual pairing event of 4 of our handcrafted beer with 4 whiskies from Scotland.
The Scotch whiskies are curated by our friend and co-host, Nick Walker. Nick brings extensive knowledge and passion about whisky, the distilleries and regions. Check out his blog here: https://whisky-flight.com/.
We talk about the history and production of both the beer and whiskies, and learn how to taste and enjoy the extraordinary flavors of each.
Price is 69 Euro (brutto) and includes a brewery tour and snacks.

CRAFT BEER BREwing COURSEs Saturday 12 October and 16 November
We invite hobby brewers (new and experienced) and anyone interested in learning about the handcrafted beer brewing process and business to join our craft beer brewing course (in English) from 10:00-17:00 with planned breaks. Limited to 8 participants.
Price includes Higgins beer samples and a German style Brotzeit. Learn about American craft beer styles and what makes them different - from the recipes to the ingredients. Experience hands on brewing of a 60L batch and receive a few cans of the packaged brew after fermentation.
