We welcome our friends from the exceptional French microbrewery Les Intenables! They will take over a few of our taps and introduce you to their unique artisanal ales. We discovered their New England IPA on a trip to Strasbourg and we met them at the Stuttgart Craft Beer Fest earlier this year. Don't miss the chance to talk with the team, taste their amazing beer and hear their inspiring story!

Higgins Ale Works hosts an unusual pairing event of 4 of our handcrafted beer with 4 whisky samples from Scotland.
The Scotch whiskies are curated by our friend and co-host, Nick Walker. Nick brings extensive knowledge and passion about whisky, the distilleries and regions. Check out his blog here: https://whisky-flight.com/.
We talk about the history and production of both the beer and whiskies, and learn how to taste and enjoy the extraordinary flavors of each.

Our annual friendly Pumpkin Ale competition takes place on HALLOWEEN at a new location. This year it will be hosted by BrewsLi in der Au.
Come by to meet your favorite craft brewers from Higgins, BrewsLi , True Brew, and Hopsylvania and sample their versions of the craftiest Pumpkin Ales you have ever tasted!

We invite hobby brewers (new and experienced) and anyone interested in learning about the handcrafted beer brewing process and business to join our craft beer brewing course (in English) from 10:00-17:00 with planned breaks. Limited to 8 participants.
Price includes Higgins beer samples and a German style Brotzeit. Learn about American craft beer styles and what makes them different - from the recipes to the ingredients. Experience hands on brewing of a 60L batch and receive a few cans of the packaged brew after fermentation.
